The Finance and Information Systems Department is comprised of the Finance and Budget Division and the Information Systems Division. We are committed to providing excellent customer service to the citizens of Lakewood, the City Council, the City Manager, and to our internal customers, the employees of the City of Lakewood.

Finance and Budget Division
The Finance and Budget Division manages and oversees the financial responsibilities of the City of Lakewood, including preparation of financial statements and coordination of the development of the City's Budget. We perform the daily accounting functions for the City including cash receipting of revenue, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and grant administration. The Finance and Budget Division also has responsibility for asset tracking and for the Animal Licensing program.

Information Systems Division
The Information Systems Division is responsible for the City of Lakewood's Network Information Systems (NIS), which is comprised of the computers, servers, routers, and printers that City employees use to do their daily work, and for the City's phone system. We also provide maps and reports through the City of Lakewood Geographic Information System (GIS).
