Abstract:: The lake data was gathered originally from multiple sources of Pierce County GIS maps and data. The lakes within Lakewood were pulled from the Pierce County hydro data and verified with the quarter section assessor maps. Data has also been corrected as necessary. Please see Pierce County GIS Metadata for further questions on their hydro data.
Purpose:: This data set was intended to be used for the display of lakes within the City of Lakewood.
