Abstract:

" The Urban Growth Boundaries theme identifies the CUGA (Comprehensive Urban Growth Areas) and UGA (Urban Growth Areas) boundaries in Pierce County. Where the CUGA and UGA boundaries overlap, the CUGA boundaries takes precedence in the CountyView legend (CountyView is an ArcView project used by internally by Pierce County). This data is based on a coverage created by Pierce County PALS - Planning and Land Services called boundary_snp. This coverage was based on the Pierce County Assessor-Treasurer's tax parcel maps. "
