Lifeguards:

The City of Lakewood seasonally staffs lifeguards at both Harry Todd and American Lake Parks. All lifeguards are certified with both their lifeguard and water safety instructor certifications. They are there for your safety and require your cooperation for a safe swimming environment. Please remember that lifeguards are not a substitute for parental supervision.

Boat Launches:

The renovated American Lake Park boat launch was dedicated on May 16, 2009 and has been an instant hit with the boating community.

Current Fees:

• $10 daily launch - pay on site - credit card or $10 bills accepted.
• $80 annual season pass - resident (need to purchase at City Hall during regular business hours)
• $100 annual season pass - non-resident (need to purchase at City Hall during regular business hours)
