Park Shelters:
Fort Steilacoom Shelter #1: Accommodates 100 people. Electricity, water and barbeques available. Located near playground and sports fields.
Fee: $80 per half day, $150 per full day
Fort Steilacoom Shelter #2: Accommodates 25 people. It does not have water, electrical service or BBQs.
Lakewood Resident: $20 per half day, $40 per full day
Non-Resident: $30 per half day, $60 per full day
The following shelters accommodate 25 people and are priced accordingly:
Lakewood Resident: $20 per half day, $40 per full day

Active Park: Located near playground, paved walking path and basketball court.
American Lake Park Shelter: Located near playground, boat launch, swimming beach, fishing access and permanent restrooms. Electricity and water available.
Wards Lake Park Shelter: Located near playground, fishing pier, lake and trails. Electricity available.
Harry Todd Park Shelter #1: Located near ballfields, tennis and basketball courts, skate park, playground, permanent restroom, swimming beach and fishing pier. Water and electricity available.
Harry Todd Park Shelter #2: Located near ballfields, tennis and basketball courts, skate park, playground, permanent restroom, swimming beach and fishing pier.
Springbrook Park: Located near baseball field, playground and basketball courts.
Large events or those with a significant impact on the park may be subject to a Special Event Fee of $150. This fee includes your shelter rental. Lakewood Parks & Recreation will review your rental application forms and determine whether a Special Event Fee or extra refuse and sani-can charges are required.
Rental Process
Please download both the Facility Use Application (doc 90 kB) (pdf 36 kB) and Special Use Questionnaire (pdf 107 kB). Complete and return both forms to begin the reservation process. We will then contact you regarding availability, any additional fees that may be required and payment of fees. Facilities book quickly in the Spring and Summer months, so don't delay!
