Ft. Steilacoom Park is a wonderful regional facility for not only the City of Lakewood, but for all who come from throughout the Puget Sound area to experience all that the park has to offer. The history of the park ranges from a military base to a self sustaining farm for Western State Hospital, to its current use as a park that boasts opportunities for passive as well as active recreation. At 340 acres it has a lake, prairie lands, historical barns, trails, sports fields, a playground, and an off leash dog park. You are sure to find a variety of activities for your enjoyment.

Site amenities:
- 4 baseball/softball fields
- Up to 6 full size soccer fields, or multiple modified fields
- 22 acre dog park
- Large playground ADA accessible
- Waughop Lake
- Over ten miles of trails; some paved some natural
- Picnic shelter (another one will be built this year if lions can arrange it)
- Active as well as passive use areas
- Ability to host large events and tournaments
