Abstract:

The lake and majore bodies of water information was originally gathered from multiple sources of Pierce County GIS maps and data. The lakes within Lakewood were pulled from the Pierce County hydro data and verified with the quarter section assessor maps. Data has been corrected and updated where necessary. Please see Pierce County GIS Metadata for further questions on their hydro data.

Purpose:

This data is used for displaying the major bodies of water within the City of Lakewood
