Description:

Abstract:: This data represents the center of roads in the City of Lakewood. The roads were primarily digitized from orthophotography. It is attributed with address ranges. Only roads that exist are in the dataset. The data was made by combining Pierce County Otherrds and Roads datasets - as amended, modified, and maintained by City of Lakewood GIS.
Purpose:: The purpose of this data is to have a street file for mapping and analysis that: 1) Has accurate street names; 2) Is the source of maintained address ranges; 3) Is consistent with recent orthophotography; 4) Can be used for a variety of uses (e.g., addressing, geocoding, routing, etc.).
