City of Lakewood

The City of Lakewood is spearheading a pilot project for a Farmers Market. The purpose of the Market is to create a sense of community and celebrate our unique community assets while providing healthy options to our citizens. The Farmers Market will start on Tuesday July 10th and end on Tuesday, August 28th. It will be located at City Hall and will feature fresh food, arts, crafts and entertainment. While the City is leading a pilot project, they are partnering with over 20 community members and have formed a steering committee. The Farmers Market will be weekly on Tuesdays from 11am – 3pm. Tuesday was selected as a date because there is virtually no competition that day from other markets, and it will make will make a broader array of vendors available for Lakewood.
