Parks and Recreation Community Survey Coming
A quarter of all Lakewood households will receive it
LAKEWOOD, WA - The City of Lakewood is working on the Lakewood Legacy Plan, a 20-year strategic plan that will present a roadmap for building a healthy and sustainable parks and recreation system. Our goal is to meet the current and future needs of the community.
This week, 6,000 households in Lakewood were randomly selected to receive a survey questionnaire (that's about one in every 4 households). The survey includes questions regarding your park and recreation needs, your expectations of our programs and services and the kinds of facilities you use or wish we had in Lakewood. To remain "statistically valid" only those who receive the survey can participate. All the answers to the survey questions are confidential and will be tallied and analyzed by an outside consulting firm. Please invest in your park and recreation system by completing the survey and helping build a park and recreation legacy for future generations! Survey results will be posted to the City's website in early 2011. To learn more about the Legacy Plan check out the parks and recreation website at www.lakewoodparksandrec.com
