It’s back – bigger, tastier and more market-ier than ever before.
The Lakewood Farmers Market returns for its fourth season beginning June 2, and it will run every Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., through Sept. 15.
Once again sponsored generously by St. Clare Hospital, the market will take place at Lakewood Towne Center on the plaza at Lakewood City Hall, 6000 Main Street SW. This season promises to be the market’s best yet, as the City welcomes back vendors of some of the freshest produce, flowers, plants and other natural offerings around, as well as great arts, crafts and other goods.
And if you’re a foody, the Lakewood Farmers Market is offering the best noms in the South Sound. Several regionally popular mobile food trucks will join the market, including:
The newcomers will join such mobile market staples as Josefina’s Burrito Boy , Sheldons Dogongood Dogs and the Whistle Stop sandwiches.
This year’s Farmers Market will also offer cooking demonstrations, courtesy of St. Claire, as well as live entertainment.
So whether you’re shopping for the crispiest apples, the brightest bouquets or the juiciest BBQ, this year’s Lakewood Farmers Market will have everything you’re looking for. For more information, visit the Farmers Market page .
