Updated Flood Insurance Rate Maps
Updated Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM) went into effect on March 7, 2017. These maps, generally referred to as flood zone maps, show the Special Flood Hazard Areas (flood zones) as they have been updated for the City of Lakewood. The map indexes and individual map panels can be viewed by clicking the button below.

On October 19, 2015, the following visioning statement was adopted by the Lakewood City Council (Resolution No. 2015-30). This visioning statement replaces an earlier version which came about in 1996 in response to some of the issues facing Lakewood just after incorporation. Since that time, many of the City’s goals and objectives have been accomplished, and, thus, the need to update the visioning statement. The new vision statement addresses community attitudes concerning current and anticipated issues affecting the City.

**Permit Applications will not be accepted after 4pm, and the last customer will be accepted at 4:15pm**
