Mayfest - Call To Artists

Artists are encouraged to enter a juried show to be exhibited during the Mayfest celebration at Lakewold Gardens in Lakewood, Washington. Artists who are residents of Lakewood or who work within the Lakewood city limits are encouraged to enter. All artistic media will be included in this event. Artist Trust, founded in 1987, is a not-for-profit organization whose sole mission is to support and encourage individual arists working in all disciplines in order to enrich community life throughout Washington State. Mt. Rainier Festivals strives to bring art into rural Pierce County through a series of art, music & film festivals. Centered in the town of Ashford, the gateway to Mt. Rainier National Park, our festivals bring 2-D, 3-D art, film & photography, music & spoken word entertainment to the Upper Nisqually Valley.

The City of Lakewood Rotating Art Gallery

City Hall Art Gallery Application

The Lakewood Arts Commission will be selecting artwork in two and three dimensional media to be displayed at the Lakewood City Hall. The gallery will be located on the first floor in the Lakewood City Hall at 6000 Main Street SW in Lakewood, Washington. More than one artist’s works may be exhibited during each time period. For each exhibition, artists and their works are publicized by the Lakewood Arts Commission members through press releases sent to area media, galleries and arts organizations an on the City’s website. Artists may choose to produce supplemental publicity and show cards that will also be sent to appropriate contacts. Eligibility will be limited to professional or amateur artists living in Washington State who work in two (2) or three (3) dimensional media. Videos will not be accepted.
