Public Safety Advisory Committee (PSAC)
The Public Safety Advisory Committee is proactive by
- Identifying issues and gathering information from experts, opponents and proponents,
- Reaching out for input from the citizens
- Helping guide the City Council in both the development and monitoring of public safety policy.
The Committee uses citizen input to help provide guidance to the City Council in the development and monitoring of Public Safety policies.
The Public Safety Advisory Committee provides the citizens of Lakewood with a forum to:
Advise the City Council on Public Safety Policy.
The Committee actively reaches out to the community in order to provide the people of Lakewood a safe environment to allow an opportunity to voice their concerns regarding any public safety issue. The outreach efforts include engaging the community, identifying important public safety issues, and relating such to the City Council.
