The City of Lakewood is proud to participate in this year’s American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life beginning June 1, 2012 at Clover Park High School. City officials and staff will take turns running/walking around track for 24 hours. There will be food, games and activities providing entertainment and fundraising for the American Cancer Society. In addition to all loved ones individual members are walking on behalf of, the City’s team is walking to remember Emmett Moore, Housing Repair Coordinator, who lost his battle to cancer in November 2011.
