Woodbrook/American Lake Gardens Open House

Close to ten years ago, part of American Lake Gardens was slated for industrial business park redevelopment. Lakewood's 2000 comprehensive plan and 2001 zoning set new development policies and regulations citywide, and industrial redevelopment potential was a major consideration in gaining funding for sewer lines in American Lake Gardens.

As sewer construction approaches, the City has begun planning for redevelopment of this industrial area, which will not only bring sewer service but also jobs and a stronger economic base. You're invited to an informational open house to learn about the plan and to talk with consultants and planners working on the project.

What's intended for this area? What will change, and what will remain the same? How will roads and other improvements function? How will people who live there be affected?

Enjoy some refreshments and offer your ideas, thoughts and suggestions to help make American Lake Gardens a better place to live and work.
