Lake Louise School Park

Over 30 people, young and old attended the ribbon cutting at Lake Louise Elementary School on Monday, October 12, 2009. The community was celebrating the new School Park, a partnership between the clover Park School District and the City of Lakewood. The school park serves Lake Louise students during the school day and is open to Lakewood residents after school hours and on weekends. Site improvements included a new playground structure, swings, ¼ mile walking trail, new hard surface areas, community access improvements and signage. Mayor Richardson stated during the ribbon cutting that "creating the Lake Louise school park brings us closer to meeting the goal of having an open space within ½ mile of every Lakewood resident".
