LAKEWOOD—Clover Park School District and the City of Lakewood are hosting "Innovation, Involvement and Improved Student Achievement…A Community Discussion" on Wednesday, Feb. 18, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., in the council chambers at Lakewood City Hall, 6000 Main St. The special event features the 45-minute movie "Flunked" and time for small group discussions.
"We are glad to collaborate with the city and look forward to hearing the opinions and perspectives of local community members related to innovation, involvement and improved student achievement. We know that by working closely with our community we can improve the state of our neighborhoods and our schools," said Debbie LeBeau, superintendent of Clover Park School District.
