Falling leaves and heavy rain can cause problems. City crews work hard to keep storm drains free of debris, but we need your help.
Leaves in street gutters can clog storm drains, potentially causing flooding of neighborhood streets. Your help with prompt removal of fallen leaves is appreciated; potential flooding will be reduced; pollution to local creeks will be prevented. Check storm drains near your property to make sure they are free of leaves and debris. Rake leaves away from blocked storm drains and dispose with your yard waste. Do not remove the grate! Street sweepers cannot pick up large piles of leaves, so please do not rake or blow leaves from your property into the street.
